Share your story to show there’s ‘no wrong path’ on exam results day
#NoWrongPath is a social media movement which celebrates the range and diversity of career paths in Scotland. The campaign aims to provide inspiration and reassurance to young people who are receiving their exam results.
We recognise that some young people may be disheartened by their exam results so we aim to show young people how many successful people in interesting job roles across Scotland may not have taken a straight, obvious or traditional path to get there.
This Scottish Results Day (Tuesday 6 August 2019), DYW West Highland invite you to get involved in this award-winning campaign. Last year, #NoWrongPath was used almost 20,000 times – so help us share this positive and inspiring message with even more young people this year, especially throughout Lochaber, Skye and Wester Ross.
Please see below examples from last year:
To share your path:
On Tuesday 6 August 2019, post a photograph of yourself holding a sign outlining your name (download one here – or make your own one), what you did when you left school and what you are doing now.
Post the photo on to social media on, 6th August. Remember to use the hashtag #NoWrongPath and tag @DYWWestHighland. Nominate a friend or colleague and encourage them to get involved, too!
Camera shy? No problem! Your face doesn’t have to be in the photo.
We look forward to seeing your path!
