Key Workers Social Media Campaign

After the fantastic success of Take your Child to work (Home Edition), all DYW regional groups are now launching a DYW Key Workers campaign to highlight the importance and variety of front line careers on offer to young people, with emphasis on the skills and abilities required.

We would be delighted if key workers in the West Highlands could get involved in the campaign to highlight the necessary and in some cases, life saving work that goes on to serve the local communities. Employers can get involved through taking the below steps:

Getting Involved

  1. Step 1 Record a short video talking about your job role using our case study video guidance.
  2. Step 2 Send us a photograph of yourself either in uniform or in your working environment and complete the attached case study written guidance.

If employers could let us know of their participation through emailing gena.maclean@dywwesthighland.org before submitting their individual key worker stories to us by the 28th May, we will then share the content on the 1st June when the #DYWKeyWorkers campaign launches.

We look forward to reading and sharing your individual, front line work stories to inspire the next generation!
