Key Workers Campaign: Young People

After the fantastic success of Take your Child to work (Home Edition), all DYW regional groups are now launching a Key Workers campaign to highlight the importance and variety of front line careers on offer to young people, with emphasis on the skills and abilities required.

We would be delighted if pupils would also get involved in our Key Workers campaign to help them to understand the necessary and sometimes life saving work that goes on to serve local communities. We have created some interactive and fun activities for young people to get involved with for the campaign which are detailed below.

How to Get Involved

Activity 1 – Key worker design

Using our template young people can design what a key worker in their area looks like.  Remember to upload completed designs, week commencing, Monday 1st June 2020 and tag us @DYWWestHighland

Activity 2 – Create a key worker poem

We want to encourage young people to write their own key worker using our template. Remember to post completed poems on social media week, commencing Monday 1st June 2020 and tag us @DYWWestHighland

Good luck to all participating students! We look forward to sharing your individual key worker designs and poems that show support for #DYWKeyWorkers!
