“This will allow Robert the opportunity to learn and study in Kishorn where the lack of jobs for young people can force them to move further afield.”
There are currently a variety of trainee business administration apprenticeships throughout the business. Carhie MacKinnon – a third generation family member – has recently started a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration and Robert MacInnes is also due to start the same course in the coming months based in our Kishorn office. This will allow Robert the opportunity to learn and study in Kishorn where the lack of jobs for young people can force them to move further afield. We also have Danielle MacEachan our HR administrator currently studying towards her CIPD Certificate in HR Practice in addition to receiving on the job experience and mentoring in our HR department.
Ferguson Transport also offers career opportunities within their operating depots for HGV Drivers. Opportunities are available in locations such as Corpach, Mallaig, Kyle, Kishorn, Inverness, Invergordon, Grangemouth and Carlisle. This further emphasises the companies’ growth strategy and key focus on a nationally operating company with a distinctly local based focus.
